Martina Skrela, H.B.S.c., M.S.c.P.T.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Throughout my career I have worked in the private practice sector treating a variety of orthopaedic conditions but developed an interest in pelvic health after I had my first child and did pelvic physiotherapy to help me get back to my goal of running again. The dramatic impact this had on my overall well-being fuelled my desire to help others with pelvic health concerns.
My training includes assessment and treatment of incontinence, prolapse, gastro-intestinal issues, pelvic and sexual pain, cancer rehabilitation, as well as pregnancy and post partum care. I have a special interest in helping those living with chronic pelvic pain. I am a strong believer in the power of listening to a patient’s story to help guide treatment and that patient education is key to achieve goals.
When I am not in clinic you can find me outside staying active with my husband and three boys or relaxing with a cup of coffee.
