I am a highly motivated and young Physiotherapist who recently graduated in 2019 from Queens University with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to my Master’s degree, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at York University in 2017.
My Master’s degree gave me the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, such as acute care, rehab, and private facilities. I was also able to gain experience working with diverse patient populations varying in age (children, adults, and elderly) and condition (musculoskeletal, neurological, vestibular, and cardiorespiratory).
Although I am a new Physiotherapist, I have already dedicated time to improving my skills by completing a course in soft tissue release and acupuncture. I believe continual learning is crucial to providing quality patient care and will strive to maintain it throughout my career.
In my spare time, I like to work out, play basketball, and believe or not bowl. Throughout high school, I played within the Ontario Basketball Association and earned a number of scholarships through bowling. The same excellence I strive within my sport is the same I would like to reflect in my patient’s progress and care.
